School Psychologist | Shasta Lake, California

This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a small, close-knit charter school community serving just 15 to 16 students in grades K-8. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the academic and emotional development of each learner.

Preferred Qualifications & Background:

• Current and valid School Psychologist credential or license in California
• Previous experience conducting school-based psychological assessments and evaluations
• Strong understanding of K-8 academic and behavioral needs
• Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including SLPs and OTs
• Effective communicator, able to connect with both students and staff
• Experience in writing thorough, compliant reports for IEP and assessment meetings

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete psychoeducational assessments and evaluations as required
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input and recommendations
• Partner with the school’s SLP and OT for a unified approach to student support
• Prepare high-quality reports and documentation in line with school and state standards
• Offer consultative guidance to teachers and families regarding student needs
• Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics in every aspect of your work
