Per Diem opportunity for an experienced, Board Certified Pediatric Intensivist in Beautiful Charleston, South Carolina

Responsibilities:\n

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Pediatric Intensivist to provide per diem coverage at Summerville Medical Center (SMC) just 30 minutes from Charleston!

Your Clinical Scope\n

\n
• 6-bed PICU with 2 observation beds
\n
• Level III NICU support
\n
• Telephone consult available with quaternary care center 45 minutes away
\n
• Inpatient pediatric floor + ER consults
\n
• 24 hour rounding plus call from home/hotel
\n
• Procedures include: intubations, LPs, line/chest tube placement, CPR
\n
• 2024 Census: 373 pediatric admits, 85 PICU admits, ADC: 4.1
\n

Subspecialty Support\n

\n
• Onsite: Pediatric Surgery, GI, ENT, Anesthesia, Radiology
\n
• Telemedicine: Pediatric Cardiology
\n
• Actively recruiting Pediatric Neurology
