Fintube Mechanical Assembly Technician

• Assemble and install machine components including bearings, gearboxes, drive systems, shafts, guards, and related assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics.
• Install and connect hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
• Verify alignment, clearances, and operation of rotating equipment using precision measuring tools.
• Test, troubleshoot, and verify machine performance prior to shipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues during assembly and testing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Support machine installations, upgrades, or service projects when required.
• Operate and test fintube machines as part of the assembly and commissioning process.

• Experience operating or supporting fintube machines is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical assembly experience with industrial equipment, production machinery, or heavy equipment.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and assembly schematics.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, and basic electrical systems.
• Proficient using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, dial indicators, and alignment tools.
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices, rigging, and handling large machine components.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Welding experience
• PLC troubleshooting or controls knowledge
• Experience with finning equipment or heat exchanger manufacturing
• Industrial machine startup or field service experience
