Warehouse Housekeeper/General Labour

Pay Rate $20.00**
HOURS: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Shift may very with business, require overtime and some weekends)

**High School Diploma or GED is not required but preferred.**

Note: This environment is very dusty and candidate will be sweeping and shoveling feed.

Must be able to do the following:
- Repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Have good knees! There is a lot of walking and going up and down stairs. They may be walking up to 7 flights of stairs (not all at once but throughout the duration of their shift). There is an elevator for moving heavy items from floor to floor.
- This environment is very dusty and they will be sweeping and shoveling feed.
- This is a housekeeping position in a dust environment.

Job Description: Must be able to follow direction & perform repetitive production activities. All training and instructions typically given on the job. Proficiency is attained in a short time on the job. Skills: Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Basic Math. Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and in group situations. Ability to pass forklift training test. WORKERS WILL NOT OPERATE FORKLIFT. Ability to work on feet for prolonged periods of time in a fast paced environment. Ability to follow instruction. Knowledge: Knowledge and compliance of all safety guidelines. Knowledge of basic math, counting, etc. May occasionally use company computer equipment & systems. Education: high school diploma or equivalent Steel Toed Shoes Required.
