Occupational Therapist School Setting - Polvadera, NM

You’ll use your expertise in school-based occupational therapy, teletherapy, and student-centered interventions to promote success in the academic environment. In this position, you will also provide mentorship and direction as you supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license from the State of New Mexico
• Experience or interest in providing school-based OT services
• Understanding of both in-person and teletherapy modalities
• Comfortable working with Pre-K through 12th grade students
• Ability to supervise and support a COTA
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students district-wide
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address student needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
• Oversee and guide COTA in service provision
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
