Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. This management-level role is ideal for a commercial banking professional with a strong background in corporate lending, credit analysis, client acquisition, relationship management, and deposit growth.
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in expanding commercial banking relationships across the West Coast market, supporting Commercial, C&I, and Syndication transactions while growing a profitable loan and deposit portfolio. This opportunity offers a professional banking environment with supportive leadership, collaborative teams, strong client focus, and a commitment to regulatory excellence, integrity, and long-term relationship building.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop new commercial banking relationships through networking, referrals, community outreach, and proactive business development efforts.
- Coordinate and underwrite Commercial, C&I, and Syndication transactions in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain and grow a profitable loan portfolio by identifying credit opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Drive deposit growth by promoting checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and other deposit products to commercial clients, SMEs, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Partner with loan officers, relationship managers, and internal teams to support portfolio oversight, credit analysis, reporting, audits, examinations, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable banking regulations and internal policies, including BSA/AML, CIP, and OFAC requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 to $170,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA.
