Location: 4760 S. Park Ave Tucson AZ 85714 — 100% Onsite
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $ 18.61/hr (W2) Max

Required Skills

  • 2+ Years of Customer Service experience
  • Ability to work onsite and have reliable transportation
  • High School Diploma
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills

  • Preferred Skills:
    Experience Performing Eligibility Reviews
  • Previous Insurance Adjudicator Experience

Job Description

We are seeking a UI Adjudicator (Benefits and Eligibility Specialist) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in public assistance eligibility determination, case management, customer communication, and compliance with program policies and a proven ability to conduct accurate interactive interviews, verify documentation, and determine program eligibility in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Review applications for public assistance programs and determine eligibility through interactive interviewing and fact gathering.
  • Verify application accuracy, completeness, and supporting documentation, performing follow-ups with applicants as needed.
  • Explain rules and policies to claimants, representatives, employers, medical providers, and government agencies to solicit information for determinations.
  • Advise applicants on suitable assistance programs and guide them through next steps to receive benefits.
  • Address customer concerns, document case actions, and determine appropriate resolutions in accordance with policy.
  • Travel to off-site meetings, trainings, or conferences as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with eligibility determination, case documentation, and verification processes for public assistance programs.
  • Strong interviewing, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work onsite, complete required follow-ups, and manage time across multiple cases.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in unemployment insurance, social services, or government benefit programs.
  • Familiarity with case management systems and document verification tools.

Training & Conversion Opportunity:

Training will last approximately 7 weeks, conducted in person. Resources may be considered for full-time employment after the training period based on performance and business need.
