Make an impact in early childhood education as an Occupational Therapist supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year! This part-time contract opportunity allows you to work either two or three days per week (.4 or .6 FTE), providing vital services to young learners in a specialized early childhood setting. Your role will be part of a preschool consortium, fostering collaboration and ensuring children in diverse programs receive the therapy and support they need.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy is required
  • Previous experience in early childhood and/or special education environments strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated flexibility and comfort traveling between sites within the preschool consortium
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Valid Occupational Therapy license for Illinois

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver developmentally appropriate occupational therapy services to preschool-aged students as outlined in IEPs or 504 plans
  • Collaborate with special education teams, classroom staff, and families to support student goals and progress
  • Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and maintain accurate records of services provided
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Travel as needed to provide services within the scope of the preschool consortium
