Step into a vital role as a PRN School Psychologist supporting a close-knit K-8 charter school of just 15-16 students. This contract position offers you the flexibility to make a meaningful impact as needed, collaborating with passionate colleagues—including Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists—to empower students’ growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license
- Experience with assessments and evaluations in K-8 school settings
- Strong skills in conducting and writing psychological reports
- Ability to contribute in IEP or evaluation meetings
- Collaborative mindset for working alongside SLP and OT team members
- Comfort working in a small school environment and adapting to unique student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-8
- Work closely with educators and related service providers to interpret assessment data and support student progress
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, including IEP or evaluation discussions
- Plan, organize, and facilitate relevant services and interventions in alignment with student needs
- Prepare high-quality, compliant written reports that meaningfully inform educational programming
- Be available on a PRN (as-needed) basis to ensure timely assessment and consultation coverage
