Occupational Therapist School Setting - Aurora, IL

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license to practice
• Experience in a school or pediatric environment highly valued

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized therapy interventions for K-12 students
• Support students in strengthening fine and gross motor abilities, sensory processing, and self-care skills required for classroom participation
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals within classroom activities
• Document and track student progress, contributing to IEP meetings as needed
• Adapt therapeutic strategies to support students’ changing needs throughout the school year
