ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time opportunity with a supportive school district in Galt, California for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a small caseload of high school students while making a meaningful impact in their educational journey.

Position Details

• Location: Galt, CA

• Schedule: Full-time

• School Year: August 13, 2026 – June 9, 2027

• Grade Level: 9th-12th

• Caseload: Approximately 9 students

• Openings: 1

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements

• Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment that supports student growth

Qualifications

• Active California Special Education teaching credential (ESN or Mod/Severe) required

• Previous school-based experience preferred, but qualified candidates are encouraged to apply
