Industrial Civil Form Carpenter - Compressor Station Project - Buffalo, NY $35/hr $120 perdiem

Trillium Construction is seeking experienced Industrial Civil Form Carpenters for a compressor station project in Buffalo, New York. This position is for experienced concrete carpenters with a strong background in heavy civil and industrial concrete construction.

This is not a standard commercial concrete position. Candidates must have hands-on experience building and setting forms for industrial foundations, equipment supports, pipe supports, and other heavy civil concrete structures.

• Location: Buffalo, New York

• Pay: $35.00/hour
\n
• Schedule: 56 hours per week
\n
• Per Diem: $120/day, paid 7 days per week while working the project
\n
• Duration: Approximately 6 weeks
\n
• Start Date: Immediate openings available
\n

Responsibilities:

\n
• Build and install concrete forms for industrial structures
\n
• Build plywood forms from scratch using dimensional lumber
\n
• Set and install forms for:
\n
\n
• Equipment foundations
\n
• Compressor foundations
\n
• Pipe support foundations
\n
• Concrete piers
\n
• Concrete sleepers supporting large-diameter underground piping
\n
• Structural concrete supports
\n
\n
• Work with anchor bolts, embeds, and precise concrete layouts
\n
• Tie rebar and assist with concrete placement
\n
• Read concrete drawings and follow elevations, grades, and layouts
\n
• Work safely in an active industrial construction environment
\n

Required Experience:

\n
• Minimum 6 years of civil form carpentry experience
\n
• Proven experience building heavy civil concrete forms
\n
• Experience with job-built plywood forms required
\n
• Experience with modular forming systems such as Symons, Doka, EFCO, Meva, Ellis, or similar
\n
• Experience tying rebar and understanding rebar placement
\n
• Ability to read blueprints and concrete drawings
\n
• Experience with industrial projects preferred:

• Compressor stations

• Pipelines
\n
• Refineries
\n
• Power plants
\n
• LNG facilities
\n
• Heavy industrial construction
\n
\n

Additional Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation
\n
• Must provide own hand tools and PPE
\n
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen requirements
\n
• Must be willing to travel and work the scheduled hours
\n

Ideal candidates will have experience building the concrete foundations and supports that keep industrial facilities operating. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and stepping onto an industrial site ready to contribute immediately.
