Pay: $19–$20/hr
Shift: Multiple shifts available
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
A Mt. Juliet company that makes granola and granola bars is hiring Machine Operators. This temp-to-hire role is a good fit for someone with manufacturing or food production experience who is comfortable running equipment and following food safety standards.
Shift differentials are available.
Schedules include:
• Monday–Friday, 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:15 PM
• Monday–Friday, 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:15 PM
• Monday–Friday, 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:15 AM
• 12-hour day shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, Monday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday
• 12-hour night shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, Monday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday
Please note: 12-hour schedules include one weekend day each week and every other Wednesday off. Overtime may be required based on production needs.
Machine Operator duties include:
• Operate and monitor production equipment
• Load and unload materials from machines and conveyors
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and GMP standards
• Record production data and report downtime
• Help troubleshoot minor machine issues
• Complete sanitation, housekeeping, and routine cleaning tasks
Machine Operator Requirements:
• At least 6 months machine operating experience (manufacturing or food production preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate machinery (must pass operator testing)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
