Job Description

If you're a technically strong qualified accountant who enjoys statutory reporting but also wants to add value through projects and process improvements, this could be the ideal next move.

Joining a large, well-established, multi-site business, you'll take ownership of statutory reporting across multiple legal entities while working closely with senior finance leaders, auditors and the wider business.

What you'll be doing:\n
    \n
  • Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP (FRS102)
  • \n
  • Leading year-end audit activities and managing auditor relationships
  • \n
  • Supporting tax reporting and regulatory compliance
  • \n
  • Ensuring robust balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
  • \n
  • Researching technical accounting matters and implementing new standards
  • \n
  • Driving finance process improvements and supporting transformation projects
  • \n
  • Partnering with stakeholders across various functions
  • \n
About you:\n
    \n
  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • \n
  • Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting experience
  • \n
  • Confident managing external audits
  • \n
  • Experience within a large group or multi-entity environment
  • \n
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems
  • \n
  • Proactive, commercially aware and keen to improve processes
  • \n
