Finance Manager

RG Consultancy are working with a very well established and growing SME based at Trafford Park. We are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of the business, this is a number one in finance role reporting into the Managing Director with a succession plan and progression within the business

Role Responsibilities

\n
• Provide financial and commercial support to the Managing Director and senior leadership team
\n
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and statutory accounts
\n
• Produce reports for company owners and other stakeholders
\n
• Manage corporation tax, VAT, PAYE, and CIS compliance
\n
• Oversee banking relationships and finance arrangements
\n
• Manage company insurance renewals and administration
\n
• Undertake company secretarial responsibilities
\n
• Process and oversee payroll
\n
• Prepare and submit Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns
\n
• Support investment appraisals and commercial decision-making
\n
• Manage and develop the company's accounting and payroll systems
\n

Person Specification

\n
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or almost qualified is highly desirable
\n
• Proven prior experience working within a financial management role within an SME
\n
• Experience within the construction industry and knowledge of CIS is preferred
\n
• Strong IT skills, including accounting packaging and advanced MS Excel skills
\n
• Commercial awareness and ability to communicate effectively with non-financial employees
\n
• Ability to manage and oversee a small team of transactional staff
\n
