This is an excellent opportunity for an accountancy professional looking to join a friendly and supportive team, providing valuable assistance during a busy period.The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and will be confident managing a varied portfolio of clients while maintaining a high standard of service.As a Temporary Accountant, your responsibilities will include:\n

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for a range of clients.
\n
• Producing management accounts and financial reports.
\n
• Preparing VAT returns and assisting with tax compliance.
\n
• Supporting the preparation of personal and corporation tax returns.
\n
• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide financial support.
\n
• Assisting with bookkeeping and reviewing financial records.
\n
• Supporting the wider team with ad hoc accounting duties as required.
\n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:\n

\n
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
\n
• AAT qualified, ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
\n
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and UK accounting standards.
\n
• Experience using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks.
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
• The ability to work independently and adapt quickly within a new environment.
\n
