\nWe're partnering with a well-established educational institution to recruit an experienced Head Chef to lead its catering operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment where you'll play a key role in providing nutritious, high-quality meals that positively impact the daily lives of hundreds of students.

\n\nThe Opportunity
\nAs Head Chef, you'll take ownership of the school's catering operation, leading a small kitchen team to deliver freshly prepared meals for approximately 500 students each day.
\nThis is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee everything from menu planning and food preparation to food safety, allergen management and kitchen compliance. You'll have the oppurtunity to create varied, nutritious menus while ensuring every meal meets the dietary needs of students, including Halal and other specialist requirements.

\n\nKey Responsibilities
\nYou'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the catering function by:
\n- \n
- Leading and supporting a team of five kitchen staff. \n
- Planning and preparing nutritious meals for approximately 500 students. \n
- Creating varied menus that cater for allergens, dietary requirements and Halal \n
- Maintaining exceptional food hygiene, health and safety and kitchen compliance standards. \n
- Ensuring a consistently high-quality dining experience for students and staff. \n
About You
\nWe're looking for an experienced chef with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for producing quality food within a high-volume environment.
\nYou'll also have:
\n- \n
- Previous experience as a Head Chef, Senior Chef or Kitchen Manager. \n
- Experience working in schools, education, healthcare or other large-scale catering environments is advantageous \n
- Strong knowledge of allergen management and specialist dietary requirements \n
- Excellent organisational and kitchen management skills \n
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team \n
- a passion for delivering nutritious, high-quality meals and maintaining exceptional standards. \n
