Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Manage the recruitment of staff up to management level within the UK business.
  • \n
  • Act as a liaison with external agencies and bodies, ensuring internal compliance, performance, and cost criteria are met.
  • \n
  • Support and direct Managers in the delivery of Performance Management and Capability procedures.
  • \n
  • Advise on legislation, policy, risk, and best practice.
  • \n
  • Support and direct Managers in the delivery of disciplinary and attendance management processes, advising and acting as liaison with Occupational Health service providers.
  • \n
  • Develop, implement, and review employment policies, incorporating changes in legislation, business need, and best practice.
  • \n
  • Compile and manage key HR metrics such as attendance, retention, skills management, and talent development, providing meaningful information to stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Develop and deliver effective training materials associated with local policies or initiatives.
  • \n
  • Act as a key contact in the development and improvement of company HR administration processes, including Pensions, Private Health Insurance, and company car administration.
  • \n
  • Ensure that all key personal data associated with employees is accurate, secure, and integrated with other local processes such as Payroll.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of employment relations and legislation.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and IT skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • \n
  • CIPD Diploma is preferred.
  • \n
