CMM Inspector

Role: CMM Inspector Type: Permanent, Full TimeHours: Onsite – 37.5 hours per weekSalary:£25,000 -£30,000 per annum + Benefits Location: South Molton Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturing company, and we are looking for aCMM Inspector to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.CMM Inspector – Key responsibilities:\n

\n
• Inspect aerospace components using CMM equipment and standard measurement tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
\n
• Create, operate and maintain CMM programmes while following engineering drawings, GD&T requirements and customer specifications.
\n
• Complete First Article Inspections, in-process checks and final inspections in line with AS9102 and quality standards.
\n
• Review inspection data, investigate issues and support corrective actions, audits and continuous improvement activities.
\n
• Maintain quality records, support manufacturing teams and assist with equipment calibration, training and new product checks.
\n

CMM Inspector - Essential Skills & Experience:\n

\n
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a regulated industry.
\n
• Previous experience in Quality Inspection, using measurement equipment such as micrometres, gauges and callipers.
\n
• A minimum of 12 months’ experience in a quality inspection or similar role.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
\n
