Already have Party Wall experience and want to build or continue your career specialising in it?This could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.A highly respected specialist consultancy, recognised as one of the UK's leading names in Party Wall and neighbourly matters, is looking to strengthen its London team with talented Party Wall Surveyors from Assistant Surveyor through to Associate level.The level you join at is genuinely flexible and will depend on your experience, technical ability and ambitions.Whether you're an Assistant looking for the right environment to develop, a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor ready for greater responsibility, or an Associate looking for more autonomy and a platform to grow, the business is interested in speaking with people who have practical Party Wall experience and want to make it a genuine area of specialism.Why Consider It?This is an established consultancy with an outstanding reputation across the industry and a strong track record of delivering Party Wall advice on some of London's most prestigious residential, commercial and mixed use developments.You'll be joining a team that is genuinely recognised for its technical expertise, working alongside experienced specialists and gaining exposure to complex and interesting projects that will allow you to continue developing your knowledge.The business is also committed to supporting people at different stages of their careers.If you're earlier in your career and need mentoring, technical support and the opportunity to learn from experienced Party Wall Surveyors, you'll have that.If you're more experienced and looking for greater autonomy, increased client exposure, more responsibility and a clearer understanding of the commercial value you're generating, you'll have the opportunity to develop in that direction too.The business is growing, and with that comes genuine scope to build your role around your experience and ambitions.The RoleBased from a Central London office with hybrid working, you'll join a growing specialist Party Wall team working on a diverse portfolio of high-profile developments.Depending on your level of experience, you'll be involved in:Delivering Party Wall and neighbourly matters advice across residential, commercial and mixed use developments.Acting for both Building Owners and Adjoining Owners.Preparing, negotiating and agreeing Party Wall Awards.Undertaking Schedules of Condition.Advising on Access Licences, including scaffold and crane licences.Carrying out boundary research and advising on rights of access.Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.Working closely with experienced Party Wall specialists on technically challenging projects.Taking increasing ownership of projects, clients and commercial responsibilities as your experience develops.At the more senior levels, there is scope to take a greater role in client management, business development, mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of the Party Wall offering.About YouThe most important thing is simple:You have practical Party Wall experience and want to specialise in it.You could be an Assistant Party Wall Surveyor who has started building a solid foundation of experience, or an established Senior, Associate or Associate Director looking for a new platform.You'll ideally have experience in some or all of the following:Consultancy experience within Party Wall and neighbourly matters.Preparing and negotiating Party Wall Awards.Undertaking Schedules of Condition.Advising on Access Licences and associated neighbourly matters.Boundary research and rights of access.Working across residential, commercial and/or mixed-use developments.Building strong client relationships and communicating confidently with a range of stakeholders.A genuine interest in developing a long-term career as a Party Wall specialist.Membership of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors, Pyramus & Thisbe or another relevant professional body would be advantageous, but is not essential.
