Class 1 Driver

Class 1 DriverSavanna staff Solutions are looking for a class 1 driver for a “permanently employed” role for our client close to Chalgrove Airfield Oxford – OX44This class 1 driver role is a temp to perm and will be suited to someone of a slightly older and more experienced disposition who is looking for a much slower pace of work. After you have gone permanent you will be salary paid at £35K per annumYour daily Class 1 driver duties will consist of the following:Working just 8 hours per day 7am - 3pmHooking and unhooking trailer and moving them in and out of a warehouse/hangerLiaising with team leader as to what type of trailer/s should be at the frontOccasionally running trailers/units to service sites for PMI'sThis Class 1 Driver role is anything but fast paced, in fact there could be long periods of time where you may not be driving or moving vehicles so you are needed to make sure the site is well kept and looking goodAll Class 1 driver applicants must be experienced and highly skilled at manoeuvring the vehicle - there are 21 spaces for vehicles in the warehouse and precision driving is key to this role!Please only apply if you have the following:Minimum 1 year on the road experience class 1 HGVRight to live and work in the UK – before applyingHappy to be based solely at base for large parts of the weekMethodical mind and excellent Health and safety attitudeIf you are looking for work and this kind of a role suits you.
