Job Description
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with schedules, numbers and detailed information. You'll support the Production team by maintaining accurate records, monitoring key deadlines and ensuring the team has the information they need to keep products moving through the critical path. You will play an important role in helping coordinate the journey of our products from development through to delivery, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure activities remain on track.Main Responsibilities Will Include:Support the maintenance of production schedules, critical path trackers, spreadsheets and production records.Enter and verify production data, including quantities, lead times, costs and supplier information.Monitor key deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks, approvals, samples, materials and production updates.Help identify scheduling conflicts, dependencies and activities that could impact delivery dates.Assist with raising purchase orders and preparing reports, meeting notes and other production documentation.Coordinate information between the Production team, suppliers and internal departments,including Design, Buying and Logistics.Maintain accurate trackers and ensure production information is kept up to date.Flag discrepancies, bottlenecks and potential delays promptly, escalating issues where appropriate.Provide day-to-day administrative support to the in-house Production team.This is not an exhaustive list of your responsibilities and in the interests of the day-to-day operation of the business you may be required to carry out work that is not detailed in this document.Person Specifications:Ideally, you'll have worked in a production, fashion, merchandising, buying administration, sourcing, manufacturing or operations role for at least one year.Experience working with production schedules, supplier communication, spreadsheets, purchase orders or critical paths would be an advantage.Sound practical maths skills, including confidence working with quantities, lead times, percentages and basic cost calculations.Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Confidence using MS Excel, Outlook and other MS Office applications.Clear written and verbal communication skills.A dependable, proactive attitude with the ability to take ownership and follow tasks through to completion.A genuine interest in fashion production and a willingness to learn.TPBN1_UKTJ
