Transition and Progression CoordinatorFull Time, 37 hours per weekFixed term until September 2028Salary: £26,740 - £27,774Town Centre Campus, Burton on TrentWho are we looking for?We have an exciting opportunity to become a Transition and Progression Coordinator and join a fun and collaborative team who make a real difference to learner success and progression.You will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of transition support for new and progressing learners, ensuring a positive learner journey from application through to successful completion.Working closely with schools, curriculum teams, Additional Learning Support, parents/carers and external agencies, you will help learners engage, achieve and progress successfully.What will you do?Plan and deliver transition, induction and bridging activitiesCoordinate targeted summer transition programmesLiaise with schools, PRUs and partner organisationsAttend reviews and progression planning meetingsIdentify learners at risk and implement interventionsMonitor attendance, retention and progressProvide guidance to learners and parents/carersWork with safeguarding, wellbeing and curriculum teamsWhat are we looking for?Experience in education, youth support or FEUnderstanding of post-16 transition and learner supportExperience supporting SEND learnersExcellent communication skillsStrong organisational and IT skillsAbility to analyse data and target support effectivelyApplicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths.
