Engineering TechnicianMarket Drayton, Shropshire4 on 4 off (Days & Nights - 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)Help Power the Future of Engineering at MllerWith significant investment transforming our site into one of the most advanced dairy facilities in the UK, we're now expanding our engineering team and looking for Engineering Technicians to play a key role in supporting a highly automated, next-generation production environment.This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of modern manufacturing-combining cutting-edge technology, large-scale automation and ongoing site transformation.What you'll be doingDelivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliabilityResponding to breakdowns efficiently, minimising downtime in a fast-paced production environmentSupporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering upgradesCollaborating with operations to drive safety, quality and performanceSupporting the installation, commissioning and integration of new equipmentWhat you'll be working withHighly automated process and filling lines with advanced PLC systemsHigh-speed blow moulding and hygienic filling technologyMulti-axis robotic packaging systemsOne of the UK's largest pallet cooling and transport systemsSite-wide infrastructure including: Combined Heat & Power (CHP)Advanced compressed air systemsSustainability and recycling technologiesWhat we're looking forA time-served Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an Engineering disciplineExperience within a manufacturing or production environmentStrong knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenanceExperience working with automation, robotics or process equipment (desirable)A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skillsA team player committed to high safety and performance standardsWhat you'll get in return£57,289 salary plus 1.5x overtime£5,000 sign-on bonus (paid after successful completion of probation)5% bonus*Health care cash plan282 hours annual leaveThe opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art, highly automated siteOngoing investment in training, development and career progressionThe chance to be part of a major site expansion and transformation journeyWhy join Mller Market Drayton?This isn't just another engineering role.You'll be joining a site undergoing large-scale investment and growth, working with some of the most advanced technology in the industry, while helping shape the future of engineering at Mller.At Mller, we're committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels they belong.
