The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading installations, maintaining quality standards and helping the business build a reliable heat pump installation team. Projects are located across the UK, including work in Leicestershire, Coventry and Wales. Applicants must therefore be comfortable travelling and working away when required. Responsibilities Lead air source heat pump installations from start to completionManage engineers, plumbers and installation operatives on siteInstall heat pumps, cylinders, pipework and associated heating systemsCarry out system flushing, filling, commissioning and handoverEnsure installations comply with MCS requirements and manufacturer guidanceDiagnose and resolve technical or installation issuesReview drawings, surveys and system designs before installationLiaise with project managers, residents and clientsComplete commissioning records and installation documentationSupport the recruitment and development of additional engineersMaintain high standards of health and safety across all projectsRequirements Strong practical air source heat pump installation experiencePlumbing or heating engineering backgroundG3 Unvented Hot Water qualificationRelevant plumbing, heating or ACS qualificationsUnderstanding of domestic heating systems and hydraulic designExperience commissioning heat pumps and heating systemsGood knowledge of MCS standardsFull UK driving licenceWillingness to travel and work away when requiredF-Gas certification would be highly advantageous. Candidates without F-Gas may still be considered if they have strong heat pump experience and are willing to complete additional training. The company is particularly interested in experienced installers who can deliver projects immediately, rather than candidates with qualifications but limited practical experience.
