Location: Buntingford, Hertfordshire (SG9 9ER)Pay: £18.00 per hour (CIS)Hours: 40 hours per weekPreferred shift: 1:00pm 10:00pmAlternative shift: 7:00am 4:00pm (for candidates unable to work late shifts)Start Date: ImmediateDuration: OngoingWe are currently recruiting for 2 experienced Welder Fabricators to join a busy manufacturing workshop in Buntingford. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, skilled fabricators looking for ongoing work with a well-established company.Working within a specialist fabrication team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality steel components and assemblies, ensuring all work is completed accurately, safely and to specification.Key ResponsibilitiesMIG welding and fabrication of steel components and sub-assembliesReading and interpreting engineering drawingsSetting out, drilling, cutting and preparing materialsOperating workshop machinery including saws, drills and welding equipmentInspecting fabricated assemblies to ensure they are level, square and within toleranceGrinding and de-burring finished products ready for powder coatingCompleting quality assurance paperwork as requiredFollowing all health and safety proceduresReporting any defects or safety concerns to the Supervisor or Team LeaderWorking efficiently to meet production deadlinesAssisting with training new operatives where requiredRequirementsTo be considered, you must have:Previous experience as a Welder FabricatorGood MIG welding experienceExperience using workshop machineryAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience with manual fabrication processesGood written and spoken EnglishAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA positive attitude and willingness to learn new skillsWhat We OfferStrong self-employed CIS ratesOngoing, long-term workImmediate starts available40-hour working weekChoice of shift pattern where availableClean, modern workshop environmentIf you're an experienced Welder Fabricator looking for your next opportunity, apply today with your up-to-date CV.
