Stores Person (Counterbalance FLT Opertor) - GrangemouthPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Stores Person to join our well-established client based in Grangemouth .This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy manufacturing and distribution business specialising in the supply of pipes and pipe fittings.This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, FLT Driver or Warehouse Assistant .Rates of Pay:£12.71 per hourShift Pattern:As a Stores Person , you will work:Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30Friday: 08:00 - 15:00Benefits:Your benefits as a Stores Person are:Weekly payCompetitive hourly rateMonday to Friday workingEarly finish every FridayOpportunity for ongoing workSupportive and friendly working environmentDay-to-Day Duties:Your duties as a Stores Person are:Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to load, unload and move stock safelyPicking, packing and preparing orders for dispatchBooking goods in and checking deliveries against paperworkStoring pipes, pipe fittings and associated products within the warehouseCarrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory recordsAssisting with general warehouse and stores duties as requiredMaintaining a clean, safe and organised working environmentEssential Skills:To be successful as a Stores Person , you will need:A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck LicencePrevious experience working within a warehouse or stores environmentGood attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual and hardworking approach to workGood communication skillsPrevious experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment would be advantageous but is not essentialTraining:Full site training providedOngoing support throughout your assignmentPeople Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment processTPBN1_UKTJ
