Warehouse Team LeaderChristchurch£15.00 per hour | 40 hours per week | PermanentA well-established, family-run business with a loyal team, low staff turnover, and a reputation for quality is looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day warehouse and goods-in operation and bring fresh ideas to improve processes, technology, and efficiency.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong warehouse, distribution, stock control, and team leadership experience who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and high standards.The RoleReporting to the Centre Manager, you will lead a small warehouse team of three direct reports, ensuring stock is managed efficiently and deliveries are processed accurately.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the day-to-day warehouse and goods-in operationLeading, motivating, and developing a small established teamEnsuring all deliveries are checked, recorded, and processed accuratelyMaintaining stock control, storage, and stock rotation proceduresSupporting stock takes and inventory managementManaging supplier returns and stock movementsOverseeing customer delivery processesMaintaining warehouse, yard, and storage areas to a high standardEnsuring Health & Safety compliance across the departmentAssisting with recruitment, training, rotas, holiday requests, and payroll administrationActing as a key holder and Duty Manager when requiredWorking closely with the wider retail management team during busy seasonal periodsWhat We're Looking ForPrevious warehouse, goods-in, or logistics experienceExperience supervising or leading a warehouse teamStrong stock control and inventory management experienceGood IT skills and confidence using warehouse systemsExcellent organisation and attention to detailStrong communication and leadership skillsA proactive, hands-on approachUnderstanding of Health & Safety requirementsForklift licence desirable but not essentialAvailable to work alternate weekendsBenefits£15.00 per hourPermanent full-time position30% staff discount (following probation)Additional paid day off for your birthdayStatutory holiday entitlementFree on-site parkingFree uniformSupportive family-run cultureLong-term career opportunities within a growing businessWorking Hours40 hours per weekMonday to Sunday rotaAlternate weekends requiredTypical hours: 8:30am to 5:30pmSunday: 9:00am to 5:00pmWhy Apply?This role would suit a Warehouse Team Leader who enjoys improving processes, embracing technology, and bringing new ideas to a well-established operation.
