Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Engineering SupervisorWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join the engineering team at a large commercial building in Hatfield.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer or Lead Engineer looking to progress into a supervisory position, or an established Mechanical Supervisor looking for a new challenge.The role will involve overseeing the day-to-day mechanical maintenance across the building, supporting the engineering team and ensuring all planned and reactive works are completed safely and to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support the on-site engineering teamOversee mechanical PPM and reactive maintenanceCarry out hands-on maintenance and fault finding when requiredEnsure PPM schedules and compliance tasks are completed on timeMaintain mechanical plant including pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, valves and associated HVAC equipmentMonitor plant performance and identify faults or potential issuesOversee contractors and specialist subcontractors on siteComplete permits to work, RAMS and relevant health & safety documentationLiaise with the client and other stakeholders regarding engineering worksSupport small works, remedial projects and plant improvementsRequirementsRecognised Mechanical, Plumbing or Building Services qualificationStrong mechanical maintenance experience within commercial buildingsPrevious supervisory, lead engineer or senior engineer experienceGood knowledge of HVAC and mechanical plantExperience with PPM and reactive maintenanceStrong health & safety awarenessConfident managing engineers and contractorsGood communication and client-facing skillsPackageSalary up to £50,000Monday to Friday working hoursPermanent positionLarge commercial buildingTraining and career progression opportunitiesCompany benefits and pension schemeThis position would suit a Mechanical Supervisor, Lead Mechanical Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer or experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer looking to take on greater responsibility within a large commercial environmentTPBN1_UKTJ
