Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Administering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy ( SACT ) safely and competently in the community settingUndertaking pre-chemotherapy blood sampling and monitoring treatment responsesManaging IV therapies and central venous access devices including Port-a-Cath and PICC linesMonitoring patient conditions and escalating concerns to the wider clinical teamMaintaining accurate clinical documentation and patient recordsProviding emotional support, education and practical advice to patients and their familiesCollaborating with consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, pharmacists and multidisciplinary teamsParticipating in handovers, MDT discussions and clinical governance activitiesWhat We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a Registered Nurse with solid oncology and SACT experience who is confident, caring and ready to work autonomously in the community.Essential requirements: Active NMC registrationMinimum three years' post-registration nursing experienceDemonstrated oncology nursing and SACT experienceCompetency in venepuncture, cannulation and IV drug administrationExperience managing central venous access devices (Port-a-Cath and PICC lines)Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicleRight to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role)Desirable: Community nursing or home-based care experience You do not need to have worked in the community before if you are an experienced oncology or chemotherapy nurse from a hospital setting who is ready for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.About HomeLink HealthcareHomeLink Healthcare is a clinician-led Hospital at Home service provider working in partnership with NHS organisations, private healthcare providers, consultants and community services across the UK.Since 2016, we have delivered outstanding care to patients in their own homes, supporting earlier discharge, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and improving patient outcomes.We believe that safe, high-quality healthcare should never be limited to a hospital building.Diversity, Inclusion and AdjustmentsHomeLink Healthcare is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
