Through innovation, science, technology, and maintaining a clear focus on people, we make mobility possible.We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Technician to be based at our brand-new, state-of-the-art, manufacturing site in Basingstoke.Hours: Double day shifts, 6am - 2pm/2pm- 10pmWhat can we off you?As Quality Control Technician , you will receive the following:Benefits Competitive salary + 30% shift allowance25 days holiday - increased after service.Option to purchase additional holiday.PensionOn Demand PayHealth cash planDiscounted shopping/leisure activity vouchersCycle to work scheme.Opportunity to be part of an award-winning organisation with a culture that centres around our core values; courage, learning, integrity, collaboration, and innovation.The role:As Quality Control Technician , you will inspect manufactured and purchased products in accordance with company drawings & specifications.Key duties and responsibilities: Metrology inspection of purchased and manufactured products in accordance with Drawings, processes, internal documentation and any other requirements.Inspecting components using QC equipment - micrometres, verniers, gauges etcInspecting components using QC preprogrammed equipment - CMM and VMMSupporting NPD with parts/products requiring inspection and reports.Liaising with the relevant technical authority on any technical issue.Supporting MRB Reviews when necessary.Supporting CAPA investigations, internally & externally as and when required.Performing and/or supporting Gauge R&R or MSA reviews in line with company requirements.Supporting calibration when necessary.Supporting both Internal & External audits.What are we looking for?As Quality Control Technician, you will have the following:Key skills and experience: HNC or equivalent in an Engineering DisciplineTrained and experienced in the use of CMM and VMMExperience in machining and milling, ideally within the medical or aerospace sectorFamiliar with GD&T and confident in a variety of metrology equipment ranging from a micrometre to CMM/VMMAbility to read drawings and determine the method of inspection.Ability to write Inspection ReportsStrong written and verbal communication skillsTeam playerTJBLATCHFORDTPBN1_UKTJ
