Job Title: Materials HandlerLocation: PlymouthJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £24,653 - £34,905 per annumShift : Days, Backs and Night shifts availableJob SummaryWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Materials Handler to join our warehouse team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials and products across the site, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal processes.**There is potential for quick progression in this role, which will lead to an increase in salary**Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload vehicles in accordance with company proceduresPick kits or parts based on work orders or pick listsIssue parts to the machine shop and production teams in line with the planPut away products in the correct stores or warehouse locationsPack parts according to specific packing instructions, including those for subcontractorsPrepare seal kits and spare parts for shipment in line with agreed processesLabel products appropriatelyUnpack and decant productsSupport replenishment of lineside and Kanban stockAllocate products for sales ordersCollect defective products from the factory and process returns (RTS)Complete SAP transactions for booking in, picking, packing, and stock movementsUse Warehouse Management System (WMS) for routine tasksMaintain housekeeping through daily 5S activitiesOperate forklift trucks as requiredFollow all company health and safety policies and proceduresEssential RequirementsMinimum 3 years consistent work experience in warehousing, materials handling or similar industryValid Counterbalance FLT LicenceAbility to work effectively in a team environmentBasic verbal and numerical skillsProactive and willing to learnDesirable QualificationsPivot Steer FLT LicenceReach Truck LicencePPT (Powered Pallet Truck) LicenceBasic SAP user experienceBenefits PackageGenerous holiday allowanceCompany pension with employer contributionsLife assurance / life coverEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)24/7 Virtual GP serviceCycle to Work schemeElectric Vehicle schemeEmployee discounts and cashback offersFree on-site parkingOngoing training and developmentGenuine career progression opportunitiesHow to ApplyCall 01803 840844 and ask for Chris Henry to learn more.
