We are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in East Dulwich for an Art Technician to join their Art Department from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and organised individual to support the delivery of Art lessons and help maintain a well-equipped, inspiring learning environment for students.

The Role:

• Preparing materials, equipment and resources for Art lessons
\n
• Supporting teachers with the setup and organisation of practical activities
\n
• Maintaining stock levels and ordering materials when required
\n
• Organising and storing artwork, equipment and department resources
\n
• Assisting with the display of student work throughout the school
\n
• Ensuring classrooms and storage areas are kept safe, tidy and well organised
\n
• Supporting the department with general administrative tasks as required
\n

The Ideal Candidate:

\n
• Previous experience working as an Art Technician or in a similar support role
\n
• Knowledge of a range of art materials, tools and processes
\n
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
\n
• Ability to manage resources effectively and work independently
\n
• Experience working in a school environment is desirable
\n
• A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach
\n
