Job Description

The Role

\n

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Plumber to support our long-term partnership with the MOD. You'll carry out high-quality plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations across both void and occupied properties covering Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

\n

Working in residents' homes and unoccupied properties, you'll aim to deliver first-time fixes wherever possible while identifying and reporting any follow-on works. As a front-line representative of CLC, you'll combine technical expertise with excellent customer service, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current compliance standards.

What You'll Deliver:

    Carry out a range of plumbing repairs, maintenance and minor installations.

  • \n
  • \n

    Diagnose faults and complete effective and timely plumbing repairs.

  • \n
  • \n

    Repair and replace taps, sinks, toilets, pipework and associated fittings.

  • \n
  • \n

    Support with general property maintenance tasks as required.

  • \n
  • \n

    Complete work safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards.

  • \n
  • \n

    Work independently and collaboratively as part of the wider team.

  • \n
  • \n

    Ensure all work complies with health and safety, quality and customer service standards.

  • \n
  • \n

    Use PDA/mobile technology to manage and update work orders accurately.

  • \n
  • \n

    Respond to day-to-day reactive maintenance and emergency repair tasks.

  • \n

About You

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Experience in a plumbing role within social housing, domestic maintenance or property repairs.

  • \n
  • \n

    Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fault-finding and repair techniques.

  • \n
  • \n

    Ability to deliver high-quality workmanship with excellent attention to detail.

  • \n
  • \n

    Experience working in occupied and void properties.

  • \n
  • \n

    Confident using PDA/mobile technology.

  • \n
  • \n

    NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent) is desirable.

  • \n
  • \n

    Clean Full UK driving licence.

  • \n
  • \n

    Right to work in the UK.

  • \n
  • \n

    Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
