\nWe are working in partnership with a progressive and welcoming secondary school in Northampton that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Teacher from September 2026. This is a full-time position available on either a permanent or fixed-term basis, depending on the successful candidate and the needs of the school.

About the Role\n- \n
- Teach engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available in some contexts \n
- Design and deliver well-planned lessons that build scientific knowledge, skills, and curiosity \n
- Bring Science to life through practical experiments and investigative learning \n
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, offering clear and supportive feedback \n
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement \n
- Support extra-curricular opportunities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, and trips \n
- Work closely with colleagues to share resources and strengthen teaching practice \n

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent \n
- A specialism in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science \n
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Science teaching \n
- The ability to engage, support, and challenge learners of all abilities \n
- Effective classroom management with a calm and consistent approach \n
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to the wider school community \n
- ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported through induction and mentoring \n
