EYFS Teaching Assistant - The Role\nAs an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering a stimulating and nurturing Early Years curriculum in line with the EYFS Framework. You will help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, and develop.
\nYour responsibilities will include supporting children through play-based learning, delivering one-to-one and small-group interventions, assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities, and encouraging children's communication, social, and emotional development. You will also contribute to observations, assessments, and learning journeys while working closely with teachers, colleagues, and parents to support every child's individual progress.
\nThe ideal candidate will have previous experience working within an Early Years setting, excellent communication skills, and a caring, patient approach. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
