Cover Supervisors

Tradewind Education is looking for enthusiastic, confident, and adaptable Secondary Cover Supervisors to join our fantastic team this September, working in our welcoming partnership secondary schools across Doncaster.

No two days are the same! Whether you're an aspiring teacher, recent graduate, experienced Teaching Assistant, sports coach, youth worker, or simply someone who enjoys working with young people, this could be the perfect opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while making a real difference.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be the friendly face leading the classroom when teachers are away. You'll deliver pre-planned lessons, keep students engaged, and help create a positive learning environment where everyone can succeed.

Your day could include:

• Leading lessons using ready-prepared teaching materials.
\n
• Keeping students motivated, focused, and on task.
\n
• Managing classroom behaviour with confidence and positivity.
\n
• Supporting students to achieve their best throughout the lesson.
\n
• Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of the day.
\n
• Working across a variety of subjects and year groups-keeping every day fresh and exciting!

• Confident communicating with secondary-aged students.
\n
• Calm, organised, and able to think on their feet.
\n
• Positive, reliable, and enthusiastic.
\n
• Passionate about supporting young people.
\n
• Experienced working with children or young people (school experience is beneficial but not essential).
\n
• Eligible to work in the UK.
\n
• Able to obtain or already hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
\n
• Happy travelling to schools across the Doncaster area.
\n
