Construction Partner (Non-Contentious) | Reading | £95,000 - £125,000 + Equity Opportunity\n

A highly regarded, Legal 500-ranked national law firm is seeking a Construction Partner to join its established team in Reading.\n

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Partner or a Senior Associate/Legal Director ready to step into partnership. The role focuses exclusively on non-contentious construction work, with all contentious matters handled by a specialist Disputes team.\n

The role will include:\n

  • Advising on non-contentious construction matters, including JCT, NEC and FIDIC contracts.
    • \n
  • Drafting and negotiating construction documentation, professional appointments and collateral warranties.
    • \n
  • Supporting Real Estate and Corporate teams on complex transactions.
    • \n
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
    • \n
  • Playing an active role in business development and the continued growth of the team.
    • \n
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
    • The ideal candidate will:\n

  • Be an experienced Construction Partner or a Senior Associate/Legal Director ready for the next step.
    • \n
  • Have strong experience in non-contentious construction law.
    • \n
  • Be commercially minded with excellent relationship-building skills.
    • \n
  • Enjoy business development and mentoring junior colleagues.
    • In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of £95,000 - £125,000, 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, an excellent benefits package, hybrid working and a genuine opportunity to progress to equity.\n
