Client - A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join its Enterprise ServiceNow Platform team.\n
\n
Role - This is an exciting opportunity for a ServiceNow specialist with extensive experience implementing, supporting, and enhancing Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) solutions, particularly Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM). Working within a mature ServiceNow environment, you will play a key role in the design, development, governance, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring solutions align with best practices, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.\n

Key Responsibilities\n

• ServiceNow Platform Engineering\n
  \n
  • Design, develop and enhance enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
  \n
  • Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ServiceNow platform.
  \n
  • Deliver scalable, secure and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
  \n
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  \n
  • Configure and customise ServiceNow using out-of-the-box best practices.
  \n
  • Develop complex workflows, automations and integrations.
  \n
  • Maintain platform performance, stability and governance.
  \n
\n
• Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)\n
  \n
  • Implement and support ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM).
  \n
  • Configure and enhance Business Continuity Management (BCM).
  \n
  • Support Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) capabilities.
  \n
  • Improve governance, compliance and operational resilience.
  \n
  • Ensure platform configuration aligns with regulatory requirements.
  \n
  • Support audit activities and IT Security requirements.
  \n

• Technical Leadership\n
  \n
  • Provide technical governance and architectural guidance.
  \n
  • Review and approve technical designs and platform enhancements.
  \n
  • Mentor junior engineers and offshore development teams.
  \n
  • Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis.
  \n
  • Estimate development effort for enhancements and projects.
  \n
  • Support Agile delivery across multiple workstreams.
  \n

• Platform Optimisation\n
  \n
  • Manage ServiceNow platform upgrades.
  \n
  • Improve platform Health Scan scores.
  \n
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation.
  \n
  • Enhance integrations with enterprise applications.
  \n
  • Promote adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities and platform features.
  \n
  • Deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and operational performance.
  \n

• Documentation & Governance\n
  \n
  • Produce technical documentation.
  \n
  • Maintain policies, procedures and technical standards.
  \n
  • Develop operational support documentation.
  \n
  • Create user guides and training materials.
  \n
  • Ensure platform governance and quality standards are maintained.
  \n

Key Skills\n

• Minimum 5 years' ServiceNow implementation and support experience
\n
• Strong experience implementing Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
\n
• Experience delivering enterprise ServiceNow solutions
\n
• Experience working in highly regulated environments
\n
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow platforms
\n
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams
\n
