Job Title: Cloud Data Platform Specialist (SC Cleared)

Role Type: Contract

Length: 6 months initial

Location: Cardiff, Wales (Occasional visits onsite)

Summary

Our client is looking for an SC Cleared Cloud Data Platform Specialist to support and administer modern Microsoft data platform services within a controlled operational environment.

This role is focused on platform administration, reliability, operations and environment management rather than data science or analytics development.

Responsibilities

• Strong platform administration experience across Microsoft cloud data technologies, including Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL and Power BI.
\n
• Operational mindset with experience managing, monitoring and supporting data platforms in production environments.
\n
• Experience working in controlled delivery environments using Azure DevOps.
\n
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform.
\n
• Experience with integration platforms, ideally Salesforce MuleSoft.
\n

Key Skills & Experience

\n
• Current SC Clearance.
\n
• Hands-on administration experience across Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL and Power BI.
\n
• Strong understanding of cloud data platform operations, monitoring, access management and environment support.
\n
• Experience working within controlled or secure environments using Azure DevOps.
\n
• Infrastructure as code experience, ideally with Terraform.
\n
• Experience supporting integration platforms, ideally Salesforce MuleSoft.
\n
• Ability to work from an operational, platform-focused perspective rather than a data science-focused role.
