We’re Hiring – Fabricator / Welder

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

Fabricate and welding of mobile milling machines and perform repairs where necessary

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Locate and mark bending and cutting lines onto work piece
\n
• Position, align, fit, preheat work pieces, and weld together parts
\n
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products
\n
• Bolt, clamp, and tack welds parts to secure in position for welding
\n
• Lay out, position, align and fit components together
\n
• Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding
\n
• Analyse diagrams and specifications and cut all metal accordingly
\n
• Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on products
\n
• Assemble old units and perform modification and repair work if required
\n

Requirements

\n
• Experience in all types of welding
\n
• Ability to use variety of tools and grinders
\n
• Attention to detail
\n
• Works well as part of a team and as an individual
\n
• Ability to operate heaving machinery, such as forklifts and cranes
\n
• Good organisational Skills
