Commercial Property Solicitor | Development & Investment | High-Quality Client Base York or Malton | 5-9 Years PQE | £60,000-£80,000 DOE + Bonus Not every Commercial Property role offers genuine variety. Some firms promise broad, interesting work, only for you to spend the majority of your time on routine transactions. QED Legal's client is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join its growing Property team in either York or Malton. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys building long-term client relationships and wants to work on a genuinely diverse portfolio of commercial property matters. You'll advise an established client base comprising owner-managed businesses, investors, developers, landowners and commercial organisations, handling matters from instruction through to completion while working closely with experienced colleagues across the wider Commercial team. Your caseload will include:\n

• Commercial acquisitions and disposals.
\n
• Freehold and leasehold transactions.
\n
• Commercial landlord and tenant matters.
\n
• Development land and investment property.
\n
• Property finance and secured lending.
\n
• Asset management work.
\n
• Supporting wider corporate transactions involving commercial property.
\n
• Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate.
\n
• Developing and strengthening relationships with clients and professional referrers.
\n

To be considered, you'll ideally have:\n

• Qualified Solicitor with 5-9 years PQE in Commercial Property or Real Estate.
\n
• Experience managing a varied commercial property caseload independently.
\n
• Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills.
\n
• Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic, risk-based advice.
\n
• A proven track record of developing strong client relationships.
\n
• Confidence supervising or supporting junior colleagues.
\n
• A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine interest in contributing to the continued growth of the team.
