\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site HR Manager to join a busy manufacturing operation in Bridgwater on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
\nThis position requires four days per week onsite in Bridgwater. Working as a trusted partner to operational leaders, employees and trade union representatives, you will deliver a comprehensive generalist HR service while helping to shape the site's people strategy.
\nThis is a hands-on position suited to an HR professional who enjoys being close to operations, building trusted relationships and achieving practical results.

Manage HR activity across the complete employee lifecycle

Advise and coach managers on employee relations, policies and HR best practice

Develop constructive relationships with trade unions and site stakeholders
\n - \n
Lead employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion initiatives
\n - \n
Analyse workforce data and translate findings into effective actions
\n - \n
Support workforce planning, recruitment, talent development and succession
\n - \n
Improve the candidate and onboarding experience
\n - \n
Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing site culture
\n - \n
Handle sensitive employee information in accordance with GDPR
\n

Substantial HR generalist experience
\n - \n
Strong knowledge of UK employment law
\n - \n
Confident stakeholder management and influencing skills
\n - \n
Experience supporting employee relations matters
\n - \n
Strong analytical, communication and organisational abilities
\n - \n
Empathy, emotional intelligence and sound professional judgement
\n - \n
Understanding of data protection and confidentiality requirements
\n - \n
Availability to work onsite in Bridgwater four days per week
\n
Manufacturing, FMCG, logistics or fast-paced operational experience is desirable. Trade union experience would be an advantage.

Base salary of £40,000-£45,000

Up to 10% annual bonus, pro rata
