The Opportunity\nAre you a talented writer with a passion for creating compelling, client-focused proposals? We're looking for a Bid Writer to join a growing Bid Management team and play a key role in securing new business opportunities within the pensions administration sector.
\nWorking closely with the Head of Bid Management, Bid Managers, and subject matter experts from across the business, you will contribute to the delivery of complex, high-value bid submissions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your ability to translate technical information into persuasive, customer-centric content will make a direct impact on our success.
About the Role\nAs a Bid Writer, you will support the development of winning proposals by creating high-quality written responses that clearly articulate our strengths, solutions, and value proposition. You will work with stakeholders across multiple functions, helping shape bid strategies and ensuring content is tailored to meet client requirements.
\nThe role requires excellent written communication skills, strong stakeholder management abilities, commercial awareness, and the confidence to work to challenging deadlines.
Key Responsibilities\nYou will be responsible for:

- Leading storyboard and content planning sessions with bid teams and key stakeholders. \n
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with subject matter experts across the business. \n
- Supporting Bid Managers in defining proposal structures that align with client requirements. \n
- Reviewing, refreshing, and tailoring existing content to create compelling bid responses. \n
- Writing, editing, and finalising proposal submissions to agreed timescales, escalating risks where necessary. \n
- Integrating contributions from sales, marketing, product, finance, legal, commercial, and operational teams into cohesive and persuasive responses. \n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience working across the end-to-end bid or proposal lifecycle. \n
- A proven ability to produce clear, persuasive, and customer-focused written content. \n
- Experience supporting complex and/or high-value bid submissions. \n
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to adapt style and messaging for different audiences. \n
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. \n
The following would be advantageous but is not essential:

- Experience within pensions administration, financial services, professional services, or other regulated sectors. \n
- Exposure to formal bid governance and review processes. \n
