Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for a Firearms Licensing Administrator to work within the Devon & Cornwall Police Force
\nLocation: ExeterWorking Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday 37 hours per weekHourly Rate: £13.33 per hour
\nContract: Temporary until March 2027
\n** Please note this role will be subject to Police Vetting, you will need to have resided within the UK for a minimum of 3 years**

\nAbout the Role:
\nAs a Firearms Licensing Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all firearms licensing applications are processed efficiently and in compliance with legal standards. Your responsibilities will include:
\nProcessing Applications: Manage and flag any concerns regarding applications, ensuring that all activities support lawful firearms usage.Customer Support: Serve as the friendly face of the team, providing expert guidance to callers regarding all aspects of firearms licensing.Payment Management: Handle and process payments for certificates with accuracy and attention to detail.Mail Management: Receive, sort, and distribute a high volume of mail and emails, ensuring smooth communication flow.Applicant Checks: Conduct checks on applicants using Force intelligence systems to uphold safety and compliance.Document Management: Accurately record, scan, and archive application documents, maintaining organised records in our databases.Continuous Improvement: Identify and suggest opportunities for process enhancements to improve team efficiency.
