Salary & Benefits

Starting Salary: £30,000 per year

Salary Increase: Rising to £32,500 upon successful completion of your probationary period.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Manual handling of all types of cargo, including chilled, frozen and ambient perishable goods.
\n
• Operating a range of Counterbalance Forklift Trucks (1.5T–8T) safely and efficiently.
\n
• Picking, packing, splitting and sorting shipments accurately and within required timescales.
\n
• Loading and unloading company vehicles, from vans through to articulated lorries, as well as visiting vehicles.
\n
• Building, sorting and stacking aircraft pallets while recording all movements using the warehouse computer system and generating the relevant paperwork.
\n
• Maintaining accurate warehouse stock records, both electronically and on paper.
\n
• Working closely with the office team, supervisors and warehouse management to ensure smooth night shift operations.
\n
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
\n

What They're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

\n
• A minimum of 3 years' warehouse experience
\n
• Previous experience within the Air Freight/Air Cargo industry
\n
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (B1 Classification)(B2 is desirable but not essential)
\n
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
\n
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
\n
• A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to health and safety
\n

19:00 – 07:00
