Finance Business Partner (6-Month FTC)

Remote – Hertfordshire/Essex ideal for some onsite meetings.

We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant to work closely with Senior Finance Business Partner on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Working closely with Finance, Commercial, and Operational teams, you will provide insight into revenue, gross margin, project performance, and cashflow, helping drive informed decision-making and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse revenue, gross margin, and project performance.
\n
• Support Cost to Complete (CTC), forecasting, and cashflow reporting.
\n
• Partner with operational managers to explain variances and provide commercial insight.
\n
• Monitor WIP, debtors, invoicing, and revenue recognition in line with FRS 102.
\n
• Produce forecasts, KPI dashboards, and performance reporting.
\n
• Support process improvements and business transformation initiatives.
\n

About You

\n
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified/finalist.
\n
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting, or a similar role.
\n
• Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
\n
• SQL and macro experience desirable.
\n
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across operational and commercial teams.
\n
