Our client, an established business within the fmcg sector is looking for a dedicated Quality Controller to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards.

The Role

As a Quality Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring that products meets quality, safety and customer specifications before it reaches customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect products for quality, appearance and specification compliance.
\n
• Identify and report defects, damage or quality concerns.
\n
• Monitor storage conditions.
\n
• Complete accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
\n
• Assist with product sampling and quality testing.
\n
• Work closely with colleagues to investigate and resolve quality issues.
\n
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and company quality standards.
\n
• Support the training of new team members where required.
\n

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous quality control experience, ideally within the fmcg sector.
\n
• Understands storage and inspection processes.
\n
• Has excellent attention to detail and can identify issues quickly.
\n
• Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively.
\n
• Can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
\n
• Holds a driving licence (preferred).
\n

Working Hours

\n
• Alternating weekend working is required.
\n
• Shifts are typically 10–12 hours, with flexibility to work longer during busy periods.
\n
