Axon Moore is partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) looking to join a commercially focused finance team in a role offering genuine variety, exposure and career development.Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, providing meaningful commercial insight and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.Key Responsibilities\n

- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts. \n
- Produce detailed variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance. \n
- Support the budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes. \n
- Analyse large volumes of financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities. \n
- Build and maintain financial models to support commercial decision-making. \n
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand key performance drivers. \n
- Assist with the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems. \n
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure strong financial controls are maintained. \n
- Support a range of ad hoc analysis, reporting and finance projects. \n
- \n
- Qualified or actively studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA. \n
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role. \n
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets. \n
- Commercially minded with experience supporting operational stakeholders. \n
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. \n
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business. \n
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. \n

- Experience using Power BI to develop reports and dashboards. \n
- Knowledge of SQL and working with structured data. \n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables and financial modelling. \n
