Warehouse & Production Operative

Got People are seeking a dependable and proactive Warehouse and Production Operative to join a dynamic team for one of our clients located in the Pitstone area. This is a temporary-to-permanent position with an immediate start, offering an excellent long-term career opportunity for the successful candidate.

Position: Temporary to Permanent (Immediate Start)Hours: 07:00 – 17:00 (including a 30-minute break)Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7 per week. Availability to work both Saturday and Sunday is essential.

• Packing: Accurately sorting, packing, and preparing products for distribution.
\n
• Lifting: Safely handling, lifting, and moving materials and stock.
\n
• Operating Machinery: Confidently operating production line machinery and equipment following full training.
\n
• Target Driven: Working efficiently under pressure to meet strict KPIs within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
\n
• Skills: Ability to work swiftly, perform well under pressure, and consistently uphold high safety standards.

• Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a fast-paced production, assembly line, or warehouse environment.
\n
• Transport: Own reliable transport (car, motorbike, etc.) is required due to the rural location.
\n
• Flexibility: Commitment to working weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) as part of the 5-day working week.
\n
• PPE: Must possess and wear standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety boots and a high-visibility vest.

• Competitive hourly rate of £12.71 - £14.50 (PAYE), with enhanced pay rates for weekend shifts.
\n
• Consistent weekly rota.
\n
• Comprehensive training and site induction provided.
\n
• Immediate start with a clear pathway to a permanent contract.
